Think Positive Thoughts: Attract Money & Your Dream Job!
Someone much wiser than I once said, “Think positive thoughts when you face disappointment. The Universe doesn’t always give you what you want; but it will provide what you need.”
Surprise! You’re Toast!
During Covid, I landed what I thought was the perfect job: the opportunity to help nurses find financial aid for higher education. I was absolutely thrilled about the role — until I arrived for my first day of work.
My new employer blindsided me with the announcement that he’d changed his mind. He was going to pay me 40% less than the amount that we’d agreed upon, three weeks ago, during negotiations. If I didn’t agree to this salary reduction, I could pack my gear and leave.
Was I happy about this coercion?
Of course not! I’d already severed ties to other employers, who might have offered me a replacement job.
However, my angelic guidance was strong that day:
“You are the creator of your experience,” the angels whispered. “Decide now. Are you a helpless victim — or a powerful magnet for success?”
Want to Turn Your Life Around?
Think Positive Thoughts!
How easy it would have been to succumb to Anger and Resentment — not to mention Fear, since my savings account was at an all-time low, thanks to Covid!
But the Universal Law of Attraction promises that our personal energies (thoughts and feelings) create our day-to-day experiences — every time! Believe me when I say, Anger and Fear are not the energies that you want to mirror into the world, when you’re trying to attract new employment.
So I made up my mind to think positive thoughts. I focused on gratitude for the opportunity to be of service to the nurses, who were desperately needed during Covid.
In my spare time, I looked diligently for a new job. Once I cleared my negative emotions, interview requests began rolling in — like magic!
Within 3 weeks, I was offered a new job.
For 4 years now, I’ve been happily working for that employer, empowering young women to become successful business leaders.
You Have More Power than You Believe
You have much more power to recover from a perceived “disaster” than you may think!
Sure, I could have held a grudge against that (clearly unethical) employer. I could have convinced myself that I’d been mistreated, thrown a tantrum, and stormed out the door.
However, I’ve been working with the Universal Law of Attraction long enough to realize that Anger blocks a Greater Good from showing up in my life.
Whether we like it or not, the Universal Law of Attraction is always working. It’s always responding to our thoughts and feelings, which, in turn, make us magnetic to opportunity — or disaster.
If you want the Universal Law of Attraction to work in your favor, all you have to do is:
- Make up your mind to focus on what you WANT, not on what worries or upsets you.
- Choose to make this positive focus a daily practice.
- Rein in your thoughts and feelings the very second that you realize they’ve become negative.
My favorite way of dispelling negative thoughts and feelings is to say out loud to the Universe, “CANCEL THAT.” Then I focus extra energy on gratitude. I appreciate all the things that I have, and all the good that I “know” the Universe is sending to me.
Go ahead, try it! Think positive thoughts about money and success!
You might be surprised how quickly the Universe sends a better opportunity your way.
